Essential Information

Built in 2007, this remarkable museums and temple houses the 420-kilogram solid-gold stupa containing Buddha’s Tooth Relic. Try to be here for the ceremonial opening of the fourth-floor chamber, around 10:30am and 7:30pm. The serene rooftop garden and its ‘prayer wheel’ is also worth seeing, along with the ‘100 Dragons Hall.’ Hungry? There’s a vegetarian restaurant in the basement.
