Essential Information

Located near Thonburi's Portuguese quarter right beside Memorial Bridge, this odd complex features an artificial hill with mini shrines and temples. The curious structure was built under the orders of Rama III. You can feed the resident turtles.

Getting to Wat Prayoon is easy by taking a river taxi to Saphan Phut Pier. From there, you can cross the Memorial Bridge. You will see a red iron fence at the foot of that bridge.
