Transfers from Clark Airport in Pampanga to NAIA in Manila

I will be landing in Clark at around 7am and need to get on a flight which departs from NAIA on the same day at 5pm. What's the fastest way to reach NAIA, which I believe is in Manila and is about 3 hours from Clark? Is there a train or a bus? If the taxi fare is reasonable, I will consider that, too. Please advise. Thank you. - Jesse B. - Guest

Transfers from Clark Airport in Pampanga to NAIA in Manila
Hi. If time is an issue, you can take an accredited airport taxi from Clark International Airport to any of the three NAIA terminals in Manila. The government-approved fare is roughly $97 or PhP 4,316 in local currency. The fare is strictly implemented, so your driver should not overcharge you. Request a taxi from the official taxi stand in the arrivals hall, right after immigration. Please note that taxis do not take dollars / euros and do not accept credit cards. You will need to pay using Philippine pesos.

If you are not in hurry, you can save money by taking buses offering fast and comfortable transfers to different parts of Manila. You will see booths selling these bus tickets in the arrival hall. A bus ticket from Clark to any point in Metro Manila will cost you around PhP 200 (roughly $5 USD). The buses usually terminate at malls like Trinoma and SM Megamall, where you can easily take a cab to NAIA for less than PhP 500 ($12 USD).

There are no trains between Clark and NAIA right now, so your fastest option is to take a taxi as Ingrid recommended. Expect to pay over $100.

You can also combine a bus and taxi to save money. Take a bus from Clark to the Manila bus depot, then take a taxi from the depot to NAIA.

The other alternative is a private transfers from Clark to NAIA. There are vans waiting outside the arrivals terminal, ready to negotiate. The current rate is around P3,000 per hour, which is quite expensive since it will likely take you 3 hours to reach NAIA. So a taxi is still cheaper.
