How much is a massage in Bangkok?

And how much am I expected to tip? Thanks! - Chgr - Guest

how much massage bangkok
A full body Thai massage typically costs 199 to 250 baht per hour, but cheaper options are also available, running as cheap as 150 baht per hour. Boutique spas charge larger, but the extra 300 to 400 baht per hour (rates go from 600 to 750 baht) is totally worth it if you consider the beautiful and well thought-of boutique ambience. Thai massage therapists are about the most skilled masseuse and masseurs in the world, trained in one of the most incredible arts of back rubbing and massage therapy in the universe.

Tipping is not a common custom among Thai locals, but feel free to express your appreciation for exceptional service by tipping. Most services (including Thai massage) are already quantified and include service fees or charges, but don't pass up a chance to show gratitude for high level of service by not tipping. A good $3 tip for an hour-long massage session is just about right or raise your rate if you're feeling particularly generous.
